Need to remember to breathe

Hey,
everyone has their dark moments, but what happens when you cannot remember what the light looks like? My first bf broke up with me this last valentine's day and I don't know how to deal. I wish the answers would just come to me. I now am doubting everything about me. I feel lost and it's hard to sleep at night. I keep thinking that I was the problem, even though we both were going seperate ways in our education and futures. There is no problem moving on...other guys were asking me out the week after the breakup. This just made me feel worse. I don't know when I will be ready to move on. I just want him back. How do I get my closure? Is closure even needed to move on?

In utah, and a few other states I hear, there was an ammendment to the state constitution, which said that marriage was only legal between a man and a woman. the irony here is that particular point is already in the utah constitution. not least to say that its taking away rights from american citizens. they say history repeats itself and in this situation it is all the more clear. remember when it was against the law( ie. god) to have interracial marriages? that turned out to be ridiculous, and I don't see a difference. i'm not a homosexual, i just support civil rights for all people, without looking at sexual preferance, remember their people!

Ever feel nothing's there in life. Boredom is an odd emotion, time seems to stand still. I feel guilty about wasitng my life away for no good reason. At the same time boredom has a twin called apathy--sorta like I dont care. Ojbects at rest tend to stay there

Do Something Offline for God's Sake

I am sure some will say the best way to learn new things and replenish our reserves of creativity is to surf around online, learning to things and expanding our horizons.
While I do not disagree with that, I believe a lot can be accomplished by simply shutting the computer off and living a bit in the offline world. Connecting with people in person is a far more invigorating feeling than over fiber optics (even if the excitement of "hey, they're half-way around the world!" doesn't apply).
Now, of course I am not recommending people leave this fine website. It's the next best thing. Sure, yeah, that's what I mean!

A question of the alter ego...

How many of you people out there feel you have this alter ego who is a completely different person inside of you. Nobody knows this person exists and He or She is lonley. See, I am a petite woman, with a good amount of self control. But my alter ego is this Big brawlin', beer drinkin' maniac who, if given the chance, could stir things up and break things down. And I think if he was set free I would be gone. I mean I am not crazy or anything but I don't think I could just stuff myself back into this neat little package that I am. Maybe I'm just aching to get out and do something different, exciting, dangerous. Does anyone have any idea what I am talking about? or am I really just crazy.

Immigration Will be the Death of us

Here in Canada the immigration flood gates are open and it sickens me. We were the majority and everybody was all for immigration. but then it happened. they came. hundreds, to thousands, to millions of immigrants flooding in from their poor desolate countries coming to Canada (or the states) for refuge. They took jobs, got welfare and eventually became more successful then the average "true" canadian. the immigrants took everything and they only consume. They have festivals and other bullshit events to keep together and be a big family. the miniority has become the majority and they stick together. Now for the regular white guy. We were never raised to stick together as a team and conquer the hardest goals. no, we could care less about our fellow man, and that is why the immigrants have out done us on many levels. they stick together while we chose to not give a rats ass. well it sickens me. and i think that this flood gates should be closed and only a certain ammount of immigrants should be allowed in. way to go liberals. thanks for a life time of hardship you fucking morons.

Lost love of a simple game

i think games that you can find on the web are interestingly pure and simple and more unusual stylistically than modern commercial games which have high production values but often all end up looking the same.
I like these sites, http://www.fingertime.com and http://www.robotduck.co.uk to name but a few. They aren't violent and are just fun, just like the good old days of gaming when i was a youngster. Does anyone agree? or have you seen anything you like that is quirky and addictive and doesnt involve killing other people?
