Speaking of reality and selfishness... I came across this image on another website. It is someone's serious and unintentionally funny attempt at mapping out all sexual fetishes. I was surprised to find a few I never heard of. Guess you never know what will give people their jollies. Finally, I wonder if any new fetishes are around the corner or have we cornered all sexual delights already?

That map was fascinating...

Life is so unpredictable, and at the moment that I wrote this there were 6,251,590,739 unique humans in the world, and now there's more. A great majority of these humans have sex drives, and a great majority of those humans have something, whether they want to call it a fetish or not, that makes them more excited than just plain sex with no other stimuli. We'll never map ANYTHING that has to do with the human to an absolute completeness. This to me is one of the most awesome wonders of the human race! :-D How boring life would be once we achieved something like that. Fortunately due to constant evolution and the immensity of diversity and numbers of humans we'll never reach it. Maybe, just maybe some lifeform with an exponentially higher intelligence than the average human would be able to comprehend it. We Homo sapiens sapiens, however, are just at the very beginning of an infinite ribbon of moments that we call the present. And it's awfully assuming of me as one to say that we'll never reach that point, and I'd like to think we will. But there's something missing from the majority of the human race that may be the limiting factor in our cornering of the many intricacies of the human mind.

Wow, I apologize to any unsuspecting readers that that turned into such a pontification about a single tangent of the question.

I think fetishs' will never disappear. As soon as they are out for public knowledge something else will have to take its place because its not really a fetish if it widely accepted.
