thats a good point, the world could see that we actually do have control of our leaders, if we got rid of bush, but I don't think it really matters who is in the white house, the world would continually see americans as cocky and self centered, not that we aren't. i wouldn't say that its a "screw the facts " mind set in politics, i'd say its more a "lets look at only the facts that help us" mind set which is just as bad, because I'd say the only thing worse that being ignorant, is only being given half the facts. but that could work both ways, we could only be getting half the facts( the bad side) on bush , and it wouldn't be the whole truth, its hard to filter everything especially with how the media can sometimes be bias and we trust them.
